Del Frisco's Grille Dallas

Del Frisco's Grille Dallas opened November 26th and is the second of it's kind to open, just after the first at Rockefeller Center, NewYork in August. Del Frisco’s Grille blends industrial and lush elements to create an atmosphere that is simultaneously urban, social, and inviting. I predict this will be a Dallas hot spot for many reasons. One, it's nice to have an option other than Tex-Mex in Uptown and I'm absolutely in love with the menu. I had lunch and some appetizers.

My favorites:
CHEESESTEAK EGGROLLS Sweet & Spicy Chili Sauce, Honey Mustard 10
PIMENTO CHEESE FRITTERS Chipotle Ranch Sauce 9
SHAVED PRIME STEAK SANDWICH Horseradish Sauce, Au Jus, Frites, Pickle 15

Service was fast, friendly and fun. My only negative observation is that there were six people greeting at the front door and they all said welcome in some way or another, which was a little overwhelming and overkill to say the least. During most of the lunch, there were more staffers than patrons and often times running into each other. Clearly they're still ironing out the traffic work flow.

It must be noted that the music was particularly great and upbeat which plays right into the casual fun Uptown vibe. Del Frisco's Grille is by far my new favorite restaurant in town. Check it out. Chances are, you'll see me there.

Del Frisco's Grille is located at One McKinney Plaza at 3232 McKinney Avenue, at the corner of McKinney and Hall. The restaurant occupies 8,350 square feet on two levels of the building. Reservations can be made at OpenTable or by calling 972-807-6152.
